I just registered on GoYaar! - What should I do First?

1. Upload your photo under My Photo. You increase your chances significantly of a friend recognizing you, connecting with you and trusting you are who you say you are.

2.In My Privacy Settings - make sure all settings are as you would like them to be.

3. Go to My Profile and enter as much information as you want to create and share. You can go to My Blogs, My Events, My Groups, My Video to add media and other content. Explore the richness of options.

4. Invite your Friends! Come back often to update your information, interact with your friends and find or create cool content.

How can I protect my privacy?

You can adjust your privacy settings from My Home > My Privacy . You can highly customize your privacy on Go,Yaar! All the personal, professional, network, and social plans information you have in your profile have privacy settings that you can change at anytime - including selectively showing information to all members or just friends. Events, Albums also have their own privacy settings.

How do I Add a Friend?

Just go to your friend's profile and click on "Add Friend" under their photo. Once they accept they will be in your friends list. If someone has added you as a friend, just click on "account" in the upper right corner and you will see your list of friend requests. You can confirm or reject the request.

How do I search for someone?

1) Search by names by entering first name, last name or both in the search field in the upper right corner of every page. 2) Click on Advanced Search for multiple search dimensions 3) Browse using the options in My Home

Can I change my email and/or password?

Yes -- you can request an email change and change your password at My Home. For security purposes, we confirm all email changes before they take place. Password changes take effect immediately.

What if I get spam?

If you are getting any spam messages from anyone, click on their profile, and click on report inappropriate under their photo. Enter the details of the nature of their spam or inappropriate comments or material.
